When I was staying with the Ooteman's, I had a chance to take some pictures of their wickedly designed home. It is all 50's inspired and they litterly have everything you would find in a 50's diner, including the jute-box!
But what I love the most about my Dutch family's home, is their pets. The Ooteman's have three chickens.

This is a completely normal pet to have in Holland.

They live in a chicken coop in the backyard.

They usually produce eggs, but since their count has been almost 0 in the last few weeks, the Ooteman's are thinking about getting new chickens. . .

I think it would be cool if everyone just carried their chickens around in their oversized bags.
Wait till you see the pictures of our pet chickens in Vanuatu. . .Or, as the ni-Vans differentiate "womanfowl." Roosters are, you guess it, Manfowl!
Wonderful to see your face in the last post.
Clearly they are chickens. They all lay eggs, and as we all know roosters cannot lay eggs.
Maybe the chickens in Vanuatu look different, or something.
Miss you.
Brie
